Journeys Recovery Home is a Christ-centered charitable organization providing a six-month residential program for men seeking freedom from drug and alcohol addiction. Built upon a foundation of faith, we offer a holistic path to reinventing one’s life through a transformative relationship with Jesus Christ. For a monthly cost of $600, we provide a safe environment including housing, food, and clothing, dedicated to the total restoration of the mind, body, and spirit.

We treat the individual as a whole, integrating evidence-based recovery tools—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)—all delivered through a firm Scriptural foundation. Residents follow a structured daily schedule designed to rewrite their story with a God-inspired ending, featuring:
•Spiritual Growth: Daily Bible studies, Choir, Church services, and Prayer meetings.
• Daily Group Meetings: Regular opportunities to share stories, practice transparency, and encourage one another on the journey.
• Recovery Support: Celebrate Recovery and weekly individual progress check-ins to provide personalized care and clinical tracking.

To encourage spiritual focus and mental clarity, we utilize a phased approach to technology:
• Phase 1 (Months 1–3): A "distraction-free" period with no personal cellphones or electronics. Residents have access to the house phone and laptop on a staff-approved basis for essential needs. Residents will have visitation on property for the first 30 days, then can apply for a Day-Pass
• Phase 2 (Months 4–6): Residents regain monitored access to personal electronics as they demonstrate growth and prepare for transition. Residents are allowed to have Day-Pass visitations as well as apply for weekend Over-Night Passes.

We believe that hard work and community service are essential to character building. Our residents stay active through:
• Life Skills & Chores: Assigned daily duties—including cooking, cleaning, and laundry—to teach the value of hard work and self-care.
• Volunteerism & Outreach: Active participation in volunteer opportunities within our community to foster a heart of service.
• Work Programs & Leadership: Opportunities to participate in work programs and step into leadership roles within the home, preparing men to be the best versions of themselves as they re-enter society

Restoring family and social dynamics is a critical part of our mission. Supporting these relationships gives hope to our clients and their families for a shared future.
• Saturdays: 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM
• Sundays: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Note: All visitors and visits must be pre-approved by staff

Our commitment extends beyond our walls. We coordinate with community organizations to address medical, legal, or financial issues and provide on-going aftercare to encourage long-term, sustainable recovery and positive connections within the community.
